Step by step

The whole sequence in words. Described in the standard right-handed form.

  1. Turn in for Ippon-seoi-nage with your right grips and throw them over your shoulder.
  2. Keep their right sleeve as they land so the fall stays controlled.
  3. Step around towards their head rather than letting go and standing back.
  4. Drop your chest onto their chest from above their head and slide both hands under their shoulders to grip their belt.
  5. Spread your legs wide behind you for balance and press your chest down through theirs.
  6. Keep your head turned to one side and your weight forward. Release the moment they tap.
