combination
O-uchi-gari into Tai-otoshi
The classic back-then-front pair. The inner reap makes your partner post their weight backwards to survive; the instant that defence lands, their weight is perfectly placed for the body drop the other way.

Step by step
The whole sequence in words. Described in the standard right-handed form.
- Attack honestly with the major inner reap: your right calf hooks their left leg and your hands drive them backwards.
- Feel their defence: they pull back and press their weight forward against you to save the reap.
- Do not fight the defence. Release the reap, plant your right foot, and turn with their forward pressure.
- Step into the body drop: left foot back and across, right leg barred across their right shin, hands wheeling left.
- Their own recovery powers the second throw; they rotate over the barred leg and land on their back in front of you.
