O-soto-gake into Seoi-otoshi
Pulling hard away from an outside hook brings your partner's weight forward. Seoi-otoshi meets it: you drop under the arm and let them fall over your extended leg.

Step by step
The whole sequence in words. Described in the standard right-handed form.
- Take your right grips and hook your right calf behind their right leg.
- Feel them pull backwards and away to escape the hook.
- Release the hook and spin in on the ball of your left foot, driving your right arm under their right armpit.
- Drop your right knee towards the mat and extend your right leg across the front of their legs.
- Pull their sleeve down and across as your body drops, turning your shoulders to the left.
- They fall over your extended leg onto their back; keep the sleeve to control the landing.
