Minimal Time in Grade: Time in grade as Rokudan 3. Non-competitor 15 years 4. Competitor, 5 points 10 years 5. Competitor, 10 points 8 years 6. Competitor, 15 points 6 years 7. Batsugun or 20 points 5 years General requirements -------------------- 1. Unquestioned moral character and maturity. 2. Continued practice and involvement in judo. 3. Terminology required for lower ranks, with increased proficiency in all lower rank requirements. 4. Good understanding of and skill with teaching. 5. First Aid, CPR, Safe Sport and CDC Heads Up Certification. 6. Major levels of refereeing and judging (shiai and/or kata). Nage waza --------- 1. Demonstrate knowledge of previous ranks Kata ---- 1.
